DEEP CALLS TO DEEP

I will teach you to pray even as My Son taught the disciples. Prayer was never meant to be a dry, formal, religious ritual, but a deep communion between our spirits. Deep calls to deep. I, too, long for this deep level of communication, because it overrides your thinking. Your mind wants to be in control, but things of the Spirit can only be communicated between our spirits.

As a hungry child comes to be fed and trusts in the goodness of their parents to meet their needs, so I, your heavenly Father, will feed you. My rivers of life will flow from your innermost being—from Me to you—from you to the world around you.

Come to Me and let Me fill you. It is My deepest desire to be known by you. Jump into the vast river of My love. Sometimes you will be in a slow-moving, relaxing part of the river. At other times I will take you on a wild ride down the rapids. There is never a dull moment when you are riding the current with Me. I long for you to join Me. The water is cool, clear and refreshing. So what are you waiting for?
