It's so easy for you to forget Me when your life is going smoothly. This is when you need to be on your guard the most. The enemy is waiting for opportunities to attack, so stay alert. How do you do this? By remembering and meditating on Me and My Word. Ponder the stories of old and how I saved, healed and delivered My children who have gone before you. When you do this, you are preparing yourself for battle, for your enemy will always look for ways to assault your mind. His goal has always been to try and separate us, for he hates the fact that he can never be restored to fellowship, and he knows his days are numbered. Since he cannot get to Me directly, he goes after My children.
He wants you to remember your sins and make you think that all of the evil in the world is My fault. And when things are going well, he wants you to believe that you accomplished this in your own strength. I am your very life and breath. Do you have any idea of how many times that your life has been spared because of My protection? Therefore, awaken each day with a heart full of gratitude and an attitude of humility.

3 Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to both you and your ancestors. He did it to help you realize that food isn’t everything, and that real life comes by obeying every command of God.
