You think of Me as the Good Shepherd, and that I am; but I am also the Captain of the Hosts! I am also your Commander-in-Chief. It is My job to oversee the battle and send you, and those that are warring with you, to whatever part of the battlefield I need you in. I will always send you in well-equipped, but it will not do you any good if you do not use the weapons that I have provided.
You feel ill-equipped for this season, but remember that the war is won over many seasons of battles. This is so that you will grow stronger little-by-little. Notice that I do give you times of refreshing, although when you live in a war zone, it may not seem for very long. You are well-equipped because I created you for such a time as this.
None of this is a surprise to Me; that's why I am in charge. Look to Me daily for your orders. I know what battles you are in and what battles you will be facing. I know the strategies and devices of the enemy against you and your family. Seek Me in what My battle plans are for the day.
Sometimes you will need to make declarations. Sometimes you will need to "Be still and know that I am God". Sometimes I want you to worship passionately and dance before Me. Sometimes I want you to meditate on My words to you. Sometimes there is a specific action step: forgive someone, reach out to someone in need, give financially, etc. Then when you have done all, STAND and see the salvation of the Lord.
Follow My peace that passes all understanding. Regardless of what is going on in the natural, put your trust in Me and My goodness to you. Have I failed you yet? Although things have not always turned out the way you thought, are not My thoughts higher than yours? And My ways higher than yours? Give up reasoning, doubt and fear, and step into FAITH. Hebrews 11 is a good place to meditate when your faith is weak; but even then, My grace is sufficient to help in this season as well.
Take the time to meditate and thank Me for what I have already done for you and your family. This season did not take Me by surprise. Do not regret the life that you have lived or what you think you should have done. Give up control. Even if you make a decision that isn't the best, I am your Redeemer. I can get you back on track. I can also use what the enemy meant for evil for your good and My Kingdom purposes! Instead of worrying or fretting of "how", praise Me for how I have come through for you before (and others), and that I can do it again! That is how you walk by faith and not by sight!
I love you, My darling child! You are on the right track...do not fret! It is a season of joy and rejoicing regardless of what it looks or feels like in the natural. I am your mighty warrior King and I will settle accounts soon! There is a time to war and a time to rest. There is a time to fight and a time to let Me and My angels battle your unseen enemies.
Realize that people are not the real enemy. Forgiveness is a powerful weapon! Whether your emotions line up or not, keep releasing forgiveness and blessings into the atmosphere, and watch how I will fight for you. You are never alone! Be strong in the Lord and the strength of His might!
10 In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].11 Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.13 Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].14 Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God,15 And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.16 Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one].17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God.18 Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people).
